Reports and Presentations:  Each individual student will complete a lab report on an assigned patent that they have looked up online during class.  This report will be submitted electronically [jmech@mse.ufl.edu] by the following day after the last class of that topic session.  Students will work in small groups of  2 – 3. Each group will collaborate with each other to produce a final group report due in class one week after the class of that topic.  Time will be given in class to complete this report.  Individual participation will be judged by questions asked, questions answered and suggestions for topics.  The presentations will be judged on technical content, organization and clarity of presentation, and “viewgraph” layout. In fact, all presentations should be primarily Powerpoint-style.

Academic Honesty:

All students admitted to the University of Florida have signed a statement of academic honesty committing themselves to be honest in all academic work and understanding that failure to comply with this commitment will result in disciplinary action.

This statement is a reminder to uphold your obligation as a student at the University of Florida and to be honest in all work submitted and exams taken in this class and all others.
